The resin composition comprises hexene copolymerized polyethylene resin and additives, wherein the melt flow rate of the hexene copolymerized polyethylene resin measured according to GB/T 3682-2000 at 190℃ and 21.6 kg is 2.1–2.3 g/10 min, the molecular weight distribution Mw/Mn is 13–17, and the density is 0.950–0.960 g/cm³. The resin composition of the invention has a low melt index, good low-temperature impact resistance, high modulus and excellent stiffness-toughness balance, suitable for blow molding hollow containers and plastic pallets, especially large hollow containers.
