The invention discloses a conductive polypropylene and a preparation method thereof, prepared from 63.7–77.5% polypropylene, 2–5% polypropylene-grafted maleic anhydride, 20–30% conductive carbon black, 0.2–0.5% antioxidant, 0.2–0.5% light stabilizer and 0.1–0.3% dispersant by mass ratio. By first dispersing conductive carbon black in a polypropylene matrix and then adding polypropylene-grafted maleic anhydride, a continuously dispersed phase can be formed, achieving a conductive polypropylene material with good conductivity at a low dosage of conductive carbon black without affecting the mechanical properties of the material.
