The invention relates to a heat-resistant brittle film made of impact-modified poly(meth)acrylimide and an anti-counterfeit label comprising the same. The film can be advantageously prepared by extrusion and can be designed to be transparent, translucent or completely opaque, e.g., white, depending on the intended purpose. Ideally, the brittle film and the anti-counterfeit label comprising it have no targeted breaking points such as slits, perforations and the like.
