The present invention provides amorphous polyolefin compositions that can be digitally dispensed as a core in a sheath-core construction. In addition to providing high barrier properties against air and moisture, which are beneficial in many applications, these formulations offer reliable adhesion to both polar and non-polar surfaces. These formulations and methods of processing them provide numerous benefits, including low VOCs, elimination of die cutting, design flexibility, enabling complex non-planar bonding patterns, printing on thin and/or fine substrates, printing on irregular and/or complex topographical features, elimination of release liners or low-adhesion backings, and elimination of post-processing steps.
