The invention relates to an improved method for depolymerizing polyester raw materials containing PET. Before the glycolysis depolymerization process and the purification of depolymerized effluents, the polyester raw materials are pretreated through temperature and pressure regulation. The treated raw materials are mixed with glycol effluents in a static or dynamic mixer to significantly reduce material viscosity, which improves the overall depolymerization efficiency and product purity of polyester recycling.
