The present application discloses a silicon-carbon composite anode material, an application thereof, a preparation method and a preparation system. The preparation system comprises: a mixer for preliminarily mixing silicon powder and asphalt; a static mixer for re-mixing the above mixture; a pelletizer for pelletizing and crushing the mixture; and a high-temperature carbonization furnace for subjecting the mixture to high-temperature carbonization to obtain the silicon-carbon composite anode material. The preparation method comprises: preliminarily mixing asphalt and silicon powder; re-mixing the above mixture; then performing pelletizing; and finally conducting high-temperature carbonization to obtain the silicon-carbon composite anode material. The silicon-carbon composite anode material is obtained by the above preparation method. The application of the silicon-carbon composite anode material includes application in negative electrodes. The present application effectively reduces the volume expansion of silicon while maintaining high electrical conductivity of the silicon-carbon composite anode material, greatly improving the cycling performance of the material.
