A guayule rubber processing system (100) and method (200) are provided. The method includes blending guayule rubber with at least one solvent blend in an extruder (102) to remove resins contained in guayule mixed oil (104) and precipitate the guayule mixed oil (104) to form sediments. The solvent blend (138, 140, 142) contains a first solvent for precipitating guayule rubber and a second solvent for swelling the resulting sediments. In particular, a series of solvent blends with different mixing ratios of the two solvents can be injected at different positions along the length of the extruder (102) to achieve graded treatment.
